A son of an artist and an entrepreneur, Tyler Greenberg became fascinated in the marriage between art and entrepreneurship. With time, curiosity led him to the story of his cousins with special needs, Jake and Max. Tyler began to ask himself why such creative, remarkable people were virtually absent in entrepreneurship. And with that realization, the Jake Max canvas formed.
After a college entrepreneurship class, Tyler teamed up with Chris Finke, an advocate who was also inspired by his twin cousins with special needs, Jake and Luke. Together, at the University of Notre Dame, they created premier clothing specially designed by artists with special needs. The result? An entirely new category of apparel inspired by people with special needs, and an ongoing mission to maximize one design at a time.
Jake and Max,
Thank you for illustrating what maximizing is all about. Your love for family and life is something I strive to emulate everyday. Because of you, I look at every person with excitement and wonder. You taught me that our differences make us shine. Knowing you both has made me better, I cannot wait to share what I found with others.
